Tom White
Tom White is a born and bred, crab eating Marylander from Baltimore County. It’s rumored that he rips through crabs as quickly as he shreds drumsticks! Tom’s live experience started in 1985 with local alt cover band “Candy From Strangers.” From there, Tom was hired by Joe Goldsborough (Merkin Records) to be the drummer for an all-original band “Ultra Violets.” Their album, "Beads, Woodfelt and Mother" charted on the College Music Journal and enjoyed frequent airplay on the once mighty WHFS. After Ultra Violets, Tom continued his pursuit of original music in Torchers, Mother Daughter Action, and Rhythm Surf Monkeys. Tom, however, is most known for his 30-year partnership with Maryland music icon Rob Fahey, as the drummer for Rob Fahey and The Pieces. Tom has often said that he is not a drummer, but rather an entertainer. Many have commented on his unique style of drumming as very entertaining and musical; “He plays notes!” Yeah, we see and hear that!
